Default Season Finales on TV - Best and Worst?

Seems like every season finale this year threatens to kill a major character. Some deliver on the promise and others do not. Still, I wandered which season finales people out there really liked and which ones they didn't?

I really liked the Heroes finale, although it wasn't quite as good as I had hoped. I'm also really stoked about the 2-hour Lost season finale.

Seems to me like the Lost finale posed more questions than it answered. That's starting to annoy me.

I also hated to see that Jericho wouldn't be back. I thought the finale was one of its best episodes.

I'd have to put the series finale of The Sopranos on the "worst of" list. While they may have resolved the issues between Tony and Phil, the final scene left me unsatisfied and wanting more. Sadly, it looks as though we'll never get it.

HBO all but came right out and said that Tony got whacked. To me, it would have been better not to know.

I noticed where Tony Soprano himself (James Gandolphini) was asked about Tony's fate. He claimed that he had absolutely no idea. I guess he doesn't want to jinx a potential movie.
