Sarah Silverman vs. Britney Spears
Comedienne Sarah Silverman has defended her joke about Britney Spears' kids -- insisting she doesn't know what the fuss is all about.
Silverman hosted the MTV Video Music Awards recently, and her withering put downs were centered on troubled singer Britney Spears. Her most controversial remark was calling the pop star's kids Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, the "most adorable mistakes you will ever see." However, Silverman is stunned anyone was offended by the remark. She says, "The joke that everyone was upset about -- me calling the kids 'adorable mistakes' -- was the most innocuous joke. It never occurred to me that would be deemed hurtful or over the line. "I don't want to get into feuds with girls half my age. I'm in it to be funny and not for the drama. It's embarrassing."

she must have been drunk that day, you can attack the singer and insult her but when you try your luck on the children everyone will be angry...

Yeah, Silverman definintely seems brutal at times. I remember her going after Paris Hilton on the night that Hilton was going to turn herself in to jail. She did not look amused.

hadn't heard of this (i live in UK, so thankfully Britney is not "news"). below the belt tho - the girl is human. If you prick her does she not bleed etc...
[and hey, she looked good in that school uniform. mmmmm]

I mean silverman is definately NOT a looker. I wonder why no one has made fun of that thing yet lol.
