I am new in this forum but I have already found out that you guys know hwat you're talking about, especially the Village Idiot. I need to place 8 picks this week, here is what I am thinking;
1) Under 31-1/2 points Chi/Pitt - I like chicago as well but I think it's a better bet on the under. 2) Indy should cover. 3) New England over Buffalo by 3-1/2. Buffalo is a troubled team, should be an esay win. 4) Kansas City +2-1/2. Too much offense for Dallas to handle 5) Tampa Bay +6-1/2. Too many points for Carolina to cover. T.B.'s defense always keeps them close. 6) Minnesota -7-1/2. Minny on a roll, rams not on a roll. 7) Under 39-1/2 points Balt/Denver - Ravens wont score much, and I dont see the bronco's putting up 30. 8) Cincinnati -12-1/2. Too good for this Cleveland team plus they are at home. What do you think? |

Looks good to me. I especially think you're dead on on # 1 and #7. The only one I'd disagree on is #6. I know the Vikings are on a roll, but can they actually win 5 (or is it 6) games in a row? The Rams offense still has Steven Jackson, Torry Holt, and Issac Bruce, so I think they're a danger, regardless of who's starting at QB. And if they do win, I can still see it being decided by a field goal. I just don't think the Vikings are good enough to get 7 1/2 points.
Then again, I could be completely wrong. Good luck this week.

I would have to agree with The Mighty one. The Mightty Azathoth that is.
