I may stay away from that Cards/Niners game. The Cardinals passing game went wild against the Niners defense in Mexico City, so I think Boldin & Fitzgerald against the 32nd ranked passing d. is a great sign for the Cardinals. But I'm not confident picking the Cards to beat anybody these days. Besides, the Niners are playing pretty well at home these days, as evidenced by their 2-point loss to the Seahawks the week before last. If you can't trust a 9-2 team to beat the Niners in San Fran by 3 or more, then can you trust Arizona to do the same?

Couldn't agree more about the Niners/Cards - who knows? Could really go either way in my book.

And can you really bet on the Pack/Bears? Who knows - the Bears have been dominating but the Pack could still bust one out. I'm staying away.

I like the Minnesota pick for the following reasons: They are playing well, they will be playing in a Dome, the Lions blow.. BUT 1) Lions could decide to show up for the "new" coach 2) Jeff Garcia is due to start and he for sure is an upgrade - although that in and of itself is enough to bet against them - any team that lists Jeff Garcia as an upgrade is doomed 3) betting on a Mike Tice team on the road with a win streak on the line - THAT is scary!

Now - the Tampa Bay pick I love - can't think of one thing negative - New Orleans? I mean, I feel bad for them but a buck is a buck - Tampa needs this game and N.O. should really consider playing for Reggie Bush.

Carolina is like that for me to - except Atlanta has this weird way of playing tough every know and then there's the fact that Delhomme did recently decide to take the day off against the Bears. I still like it - I think Carolina has something to prove and as Bill Simmons pointed out last week - isn't it about time that Vick has one of those games that 2 300# lineman fall on him and he has to be scraped off the turf? I like Carolina's D way more than I like Vick's O.

But that's why they play the game.....
