I figure the odds on Oklahoma and Oklahoma Sooners players will tumble after Rhett Bomar was kicked off the team yesterday. Here are some thoughts.

1. Adrian Peterson remains the odds-on favorite at 7-to-2. I would suggest people wait if you are going to be on Peterson. You'll get better odds in a week's time.

2. Bomar is (naturally) no longer in the odds for winning the Heisman Trophy this year.

3. Oklahoma is at 6-to-1 to win the National Title. I bet the Sooners who made this bet wished they had been Laters now. Imagine placing this bet last week.

I heard a couple of days ago that Texas A&M - Commerce (located in scenic Commerce, Texas) were expressing interest in Bomar.
