First, I need some thoughts on this 3 teamer
NE -7.5 (this is tough because it is a high spread in the playoffs) PGH -2.5 (I have another question about this one) Carolina +3 (Eli looks like he is going down like Ben did last year at the end) Second, can someone explain to me why PGH is giving the winner of their division 3 points, on the road, in the playoffs? It blows my mind that Cinci can go from crap, to the shit in their division in one season, and still get treated like poop (excuse the puns). Anyway, I want the Steelers to win, but I want to make a big play on them, like I did when they destroyed the Vikings, but the odds makers are not respecting Cinci.............Someone tell me why? I thought I saw early in the week that the Bengals were installed as a 1 point favorite in some places, and the public bet the line to where it is. My best guess for why the line is in Pittsburg's favor is the Steelers have been hot and they present a matchup problem for the Bengals (good run game vs. bad run defense). I don't really understand the line, either. The Bengals beat the Steelers by 7 in Pittsburg a month ago. Are people really putting more weight on the earlier game in Cincinati?
I said to myself this was a toss-up game and I would probably take the underdog. Since the underdog is also the home team, my decision is made. Famous last words, probably. |

Cinci will never beat the Steelers
No way Bill Cowher's face will never let that happen. |
