Does anybody have a particular player that they're rooting for or against in this year's WSOP?

Here's a good article about all the people turning up to enter the WSOP Main Event. Many of them are just looking to experience the magic of the event.

Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan were eliminated on the 1st day of the Main Event. Looks like Hellmuth's record will hold up at least until next year.

Jerry Yang won this year's Main Event. Along the way, he eliminated an amazing 6 other finalists.

I believe Jerry is better poker representative comparing to Jamie Gold. But at the same time the final table has shown that he's certainly not the best at poker.
He had won all the most important coinflips while the final table. His tactics was too predicative and simple. He showed overaggression and went all'in every time he could do that.
As a result we haven't seen actually postflop game at all. Now I believe that there will be more guys thinking that all in with A3 from UTG is quite OK...
But anyway Gold had twice his luck last year as he didn't loose anything at last year final table though he was twice newb compared to Yang.

P.S. I was hoping for Philip Hilm at the beginning and for Alex Kravchenko later...
