What a waste of programming efforts! You would think a modern console game about poker will offer a little better AI, even for a game that was made in 04. I was trying to practice some poker play in single player mode, but there is no actual career mode, the game doesn't progress or get harder, and the AI plain and simple sucks! Its like there is a random list of plays for the AI, regardless of the cards they hold. I played video poker on my gameboy 12 years ago that had better AI. For online play I use online applications, but I want a poker game that with good offline AI, not just a bloated graphics budget.

"No Limit Texas Hold'em" For PC is a pretty good SP poker game, mainly because it has features to customize the opponents playing skills. It is actually a practical poker trainer, they play according to what they hold, they bluff, they fall for bluffs… funny. Many levels of difficulty and sophistication.

That game sounds pretty good. Sadly, I've had about the same experiences as pokerprince on most console gambling games that I've played. Stay away from World Championship Poker for the XBox.

Yeah, I've been wondering about Stacked. I've passed by it any number of times at the store and debated whether or not to get it. Sounds like I made the right decision in not getting it.

Stacked is supposed to be good. I spent some dreadful time playing that awful World Series of Poker game not long ago.
