Good old pocket Jacks.
Just a after a few thoughts here into how you play this hand pre flop. Recently I have started to limp in with this hand, with the impression that if you hit a set on a flop like J A 7 you're likely to make a bit on this hand from anyone with the ace. I guess the main reason is so often you get involved in pre flop battles with JJ only for a horrible flop to show and then you are at a loss as to where you stand if a Q K or A is flopped. JJ is one of those hands were it is extremelly strong (if you hit the set) or hard to play if there is a strong looking flop. So is there any harm in just limping in with it? Plus if you havent commited too much to see the flop and Q K shows it is much easier to fold. ((I'm talking from the perspective of cash games, I think playing it aggressively in tournaments is important). Basically, interested to hear if you think this play is wrong and it should be raised pre flop etc |

Honestly, your strategy and thinking sounds dead-on to me. Limping in is the way I would play it also.
I have a friend, however, who would probably play it very aggressively. He plays in a lot of online tournaments and seems to either fold his hands pre-flop or move lots of chips onto the table. Anyone else?
