Paddy Power, Ireland’s largest online sportsbook and poker site, have installed Phil Ivey as a 20-to-1 favorite to win the European Poker Tour’s London event.
Although more than 200 players took part last year (and the event is expected to get close to its 400-player cap), the oddsmakers says the odds against him winning the event are 20-to-1. Over the weekend, he finished second at the EPT event in Barcelona, winning €371,000. Last year, Ivey won two tournaments within a week, pocketing $1.6 million. Here are the odds on a few other players: * Dave “Devilfish” Uliott - 66:1 * Ram “Crazy Horse” Vaswani - 80:1 * Andy Black - 80:1 * Dave Colclough - 80:1 * “Rocky” Ross Boatman - 80:1 * John “Large” Kabbaj - 100:1 * Joe Beevers - 66:1 * Barney Boatman - 125:1 * Donnacha O’Dea - 150:1 * Stuart Nash - 200:1 * Tony Cascarino - 300:1
