Which casinos have the best comps?

Before I head to Vegas, I always know what my stake is, but I'd like to be able to get some credit from the casino regardless of how I do. What levels of play will usually earn comped room/bonuses?

Sign up for the high roller programs and get on the mailing lists. If they have a slow weekend coming up they might send a flurry of emails with last minute road specials for "valued customers". If you have demonstrated a gambling history there, then you're good to go.

I got on a lucky streak once at the Bellagio and they gave me some nice comps. Don't know if they're usually good for this, but that one occasion was pretty sweet.
