Default Sinning in Sin City

I have personally never been to Vegas, but I've always found their slogan "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" to be interesting. It got me to wondering what people do in Vegas that they can't do in any other major city? Does anyone have any good stories about sinning in Sin City? If nothing else, maybe you could make some suggestions about the best spots to go when one is looking to let their hair down.
Anyone?

Prostitution is legal there. Not that I would condone it, but it isn't legal in most other ciries.

Prostitution is not legal in Las Vegas or Reno, but it is legal in the rest of the state.

That being said, laws against prostitution do not seem to be enforced in Las Vegas, but all the legal whorehouses you see people talking about are all outside of the county and quite a few miles drive.

There are plenty of street hookers in Vegas though.

What I get a kick out of in Vegas is the availability of alcohol. I'm from Texas, where the sale of alcohol is heavily regulated. Liquor can only be bought during certain hours in certain places. But in Vegas, you can buy any kind of liquor you want, 24 hours a day, at just about any place, including the grocery store.

Prostitution is only legal in two Nevada counties, Nye and Washoe, not "the rest of the state."
The places you talk about "miles from Vegas" are in Nye County, towards Pahrump.

Ah-ha! So now I know the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey would say. Thanks for the correction, hop.

No problem! There's lots of "myths" about Vegas and Nevada.

Default Prostitution

Sorry........but prostitution is not legal in Las Vegas, nor anywhere else in Clark County. I live in Laughlin (9 hotel/casinos in the mountains on the beautiful Colorado River) 90 miles south of LV, and we don't have it legalized here either. I have to run my stable illegally. Oh well.
Happy New Year

For those who are curious, you can take a look at what's offered at the famous Moonlite Bunny Ranch by following this link:

In addition, Wikipedia has an excellent listing detailing brothels past and present in Nevada.
