Now that I think of it, Michael Madsen has already been in a James Bond film (one of the Brosnan movies). Scary.

Randy was right, poker does play a major role in the new James Bond movie entitled Casino Royale. It sounds like he basically has a showdown with one of the major villains over a game of poker. Still, it's a lot better than Never Say Never Again, where Bond and his nemesis had a showdown over cheesy 80s arcade games (while a young Kim Basinger looked on in horror).

The original OCEANS ELEVEN............now that was a gamble!!!

I rewatched Indecent Proposal today on HBO or Cinemax or some such thing. I'd forgotten how prominently gambling was featured in the movie until I saw it again today. I just want to go on record as saying that the performance from Robert Redford, as John Gage, was just terrific.

Come to think of it, Redford plays a gambler named Jack Weil in Havana too. Oh, yeah...and The Sting.

I like Casino the best. I thought it did a great job of showing just how seedy the Vegas scene used to be.

And, man, Sharon Stone did a great job of playing a total biatch!
