It just doesn't make sense that the US government are banning online gambling when they just don't have the resources to police it.

It would make far more sense to take the £7 billion in yearly revenues and use it to help fund trying to catch real criminals.

This would apply to a number of things that the government has banned. I favor legalizing drugs and prostitution too. Victimless crimes shouldn't be illegal, and the citizens should be allowed to do whatever they want to until they start interfering with other citizens' abilities to do the same.
