Casino Guards Locked Out
Guards at the Montreal Casino were locked out by management during a four-hour protest in front of the administrative offices.
The union leaders informed management that they would have to secure the casino. A little over an hour later, management informed the 80 striking employees that they would have to leave, as they had all been locked out.
This stems from 191 of the casino's employees having went 18 months without a collective agreement.
