Financial payment process NETeller will pay $136 million to the U.S. government and admit criminal wrongdoing in the processing American gambling transactions as part of deal reached with U.S. prosecutors, the company announced yesterday.
The company will also begin the process of returning money to U.S. customers no later than July 30. All U.S. accounts were frozen in January following the arrests of NETeller co-founder John Lefebvre and Stephen Lawrence.

I like how NETeller and its founders have been required to admit their wrongdoing and talk about how they now realize it was wrong (as if they didn;t before). I swear, it seems as though a couple of children are being disciplined.
Maybe we'll next put NETeller in "time-out" and make them sit in a corner for a year. Odd stuff, but at least America gets an extra $136 million to help finance the war against terror.
