Default Only way to beat the house

The only sure fire way I have come up with that wins in gambling against the house is when there is a 1 to 2 odds on anything, like red and black in roulette.

Start with a starting bet lets say 'x'.
You bet that amount and if you lose it you bet '2x' then '4x' and so on...
when you win you come back to 'x' and have won a total of 'x'.

If you won at the 4th try, you have put in 'x+2x+4x+8x=15x' and have won 16x which would give a net profit of one bet.

Cant logically find any other way of winning inless playing against players like in poker

Thanks for this. I always sucked at math, but it certainly makes sense. Has this helped you much in your gambling?

I had this stratagy work for a while in baccarat. I had been trying to figure out different shortrun winning stratagies for various casino games(meaning they will win for a while, then inevitably lose). I had heard of doing progressions in blackjack, but thought that was an aweful idea what with the house edge of a few percent in that game. Then I decided to try it in baccarat since the edge in that game is very small. A friend and I each put $100 into an account, and within a two week period our $200 turned into $1800. Needless to say, I knew if we kept trying we'd get screwed over and lose it, so we cashed out and ran with it. Worked out quite well in the short run, but you couldn't have it work forever, the odds will eventually catch you

Red/Black in roulette is 1:1.x odds.

What your talking about is the Martingale system. Proven not to work unless you have an infinite bankroll.

Straight up without bonuses, 99% of the games have a house advantage or a -EV
