I would like to train and become a dealer. Does anyone know of a school or special course for dealing poker? Are there evening classes available?

You don''t want to do that buddy. When u are at the casino it can look like the dealers have a good time, get paid tips and get respect, but let me tell you it’s a rough ride. The pit bosses keep their eyes on you all the time and you are accountable for everything that goes wrong at your table, and sometimes for things on other tables! They have link to dealer schools at http://www.casino-apuestas.es if u really want, but the stress and risk is not worth the job, unless you are a high class vegas dealer, where you get major tips, but you need to know ppl to get there.

Good advice, jassi. I, like scott23, would have though it would be a snap job. Now that you mention it, I guess it is one of those "too good to be true" positions.
