I like getting comps when I earn points or when I come to play with a group, but I am not going to lose my dignity over it. What do you think about those guys who beg for comps just for playing an hour on the slots, do you think they are giving the rest of us a bad name, and harming our chances of getting comps in the future? And what's the biggest / best / strangest comp you ever got?

Once I got a free room for the night for me and my buddies in a casino hotel that was pretty cool. Of course we gained a lot of points that day… when casinos give out comps you can't expect certain people not to take it too far, it all just part of the greediness that they get involved in when they enter a casino.

Yeah I saw some sad, sad cases of people almost breaking into tears trying to get a comp for a freakin cup of coffee. I was searching for some comp deals in the internet and I saw this : about how the casino experience is ruined by the comps / bonus. Seriously, sometimes these casino sods are more like little kids than gamblers.

But what interesting comps did you get? A friend of mine told me that he was playing with a group on the strip, and he told me they were approached by one of the bosses of casino and offered a choice of comps between free drinks for the night and the services of an… *ahem* … adult entertainer…..

Wow, that's pretty sick. I never got a promotion like that.
The most interesting one I got was a raffle for a motor boat. That was maybe 4 yeas ago and they had the boat in the lobby. I didn't win
