Angry Online casinos - Cheat or fair?

I am posing this question due to some experiences I have had on numerous online casinos. I am regular gambler and have been for the last 14 yrs and have been in real casinos in the UK, US, Australia and also in Asia and mostly play roulette. I have resisted playing online being rather sceptical of the whole idea but about 6 months ago I thought I would give it a try. I have tried numerous online casinos, Ladbrokes, William Hill, Mansion, Littlewoods and most recently Gala. Now I'm no big shot and don't claim to be some gambling god, I only play on the 1st 12, 2nd 12 and 3rd 12 since I have a 1 in 3 chance of hitting. As mentioned I have been in numerous real life casinos and have had good days and bad days obviously like anyother regular punter. The best run of luck I've had is winning 11 times in a row, pure luck, I just moved the bets back and forth the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. On a bad day, the worst being going 7 spins without a win. This, however, pales in comparison to the online casinos, my experience with Gala prompting me to ask if others are of the same opinion. My experience with Gala is nothing short of astounding given my experience in real life casinos. I went 15, yes 15 spins without a win playing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. That's 15 times I lost on a 1 in 3 chance bet. I did the same as always, moving the bet back and forth the 1st, 2nd and 3rd with no result. Being a bit cheesed off as you can imagine I decided to go and have a go on the 3 card poker. Won the first 2 hands but subsequently went on to lose the next 12 hands. Now I don't play stupid and bet on a 5 high, I only bet when I had at least an ace but on each occasion the dealer either has a higher kicker or a better hand. Now these online casinos like to stress that their casinos are equitable by stating their games are run on a RNG (Random Number Generator), but if you ask me it seems like the online casinos are programmed to let you win whenever they feel is appropriate. Going onto my experience with the other online casinos I found that they let you win when you bet small but as soon as you place bigger bets, lady luck deserts you! Now I'm no newcomer to gambling otherwise I would come to the conclusion that I'm paranoid but I've gambled long enough to realise that luck comes and goes and not when it coincides with the amount placed. This was the case on the first online casino and in every other online casino I've visited.
Am I the only one that thinks this is the case and has anyone else out there who has had a similar experience? I'm no IT expert, I know as much about computers and programs as the average joe but if there is any computer genius out, is it possible for these online casinos to program the games to let the player win on lower bet but not when they place larger bets? Is it possible that the casinos keep a total of players winning and when it has a negative impact on them to just make it so the house wins?
Suffice to say, I will be restricting my gambling to real life casinos although I think I'll be giving Gala a miss!!!!!!
Would appreciate any replies.

Certainly an online casino could rig its games, but word will get out and eventually destroy their business. They should be able to make enough of a profit without cheating.

When in doubt, it's always a good idea to look at various forums and see which online casinos have been red flagged. If one has lots of questions, then it's best to stay away.

Of course, it's possible that Lady Luck just wasn't on your side that day. She can be a fickle bitch sometimes.

Better luck next time.

Default Lady Luck

Sure, I know lady luck can desert you but not if and when at the online casino's discretion, and also as I mentioned lady luck conveniently deserts you when ou increase your bets. This was not on a one-off, this pattern occurred in every single online casino I have visited in the last 6 months. Also, how are punters to know if the online casinos are rigging the results? Would they be willing to let some IT specialist or goverment regulator/ombudsman to look at the programs they employ to check if they are indeed equitable and down to luck? I don't think so. The losing streak I mentioned I have never encountered in a real life casino and the patterns ie you start losing when you increase your bets just seem to co-incidental to me, and I don't believe in coincidences.

Thanks for the reply anyway.

Default Lady Luck 2

In continuation of the previous reply, I was recently at a friends who on the spur of the moment joined a online casino called River Belle. Like me, he plays roulette. After 30 mins, he was'nt getting anywhere so he decided to play on a chinese dice game called Sic Bo. After 20 mins, from a stake of £100 he was upto £200 just betting £5 per roll. So sensing his luck was in he subsequently raised it to £10 per roll. He played low 10 times and all 10 rolls were high. He subsequently changed to high and, guess what, the next 10rolls were low. Luck? I don't think so. It was only 50/50! This just confirms my suspicion that the online casinos ARE RIGGED and anyone who is contemplating playing on any online casino's, beware, there is no luck involved in online casino's, they will determine whether you win or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you had better luck at land-based casinos?

Yes, I have had better luck on land based casinos. What I find with online casinos is you get the 'unlucky' streaks but not the hot streaks. In land based casinos I have played on roulette and started with £10 and ended up winning £500. Not to say I win all the time, I've started with £100 and lost the lot, my point is you are never going to be able to have a 'hot' streak on online casinos like the streak I had in land based csinos to win the £500 from the £10 stake. I've had these hot streaks numerous times in land based casinos but never on the online casinos, and I've tried numerous online casinos. When the shit hits the fan, in all my time spent on land based casinos I've never encountered unlucky streak like the ones experienced online, the final one I witnessed being the icing on the cake when my friend joined the River Belle online casino (see previous). My advice is if you want to gamble, avoid the online casinos like the plague, you might as well throw your money in a metal bin, add some lighter fluid in and throw a match in, it will save you time and probably stop you from putting a baseball bat to your computer!

Us American citizens don't have to worry about online gambling anymore. Our governement made that decision for us.
