A YOUNG woman from Coventry, UK has won £20,000 after she struck it lucky at bingo.

The 23-year-old, scooped the windfall last Wednesday by completing a "full house" at the Gala Club in Pool Meadow, Fairfax Street, city centre.

The winner, who does not want to be named, has been a member of the club since she was 18.

As well as winning the National Bingo Afternoon Delight Game prize worth £20,000, she also bagged the regional prize of £400 and the club prize of £29.

Her mum, sisters and brothers are also members of the club.

She plans to spend some of the winnings on a scooter.
