When is the Last Time You Played Bingo?

I hadn't played bingo in years and years, but not long ago, maybe a year?, the wife and I played bingo for prizes at an event in Miami. I'd been turning my nose up at bingo for a while because I'm a poker player, and I have that certain snobbery about gambling games that don't involve strategic thinking.

But I've gotta tell you, playing bingo was SO much fun.

I loved Bingo as a child. My grandmother and I would go to the local V.F.W. and play. Calling out "bingo" was the coolest thing in the world for a little kid. Had nothing to do with the money back then.

I used to play with my family when I was a child. We'd gather around the living room of my grandparents and have a good old time. But that's been more than 20 years ago.

I also remember playing some in elementary school. But, once again, that's been around 20 years ago. If they tried that today, someone would probably file a lawsuit, claiming that the school district was encouraging gambling.

I've seen plenty of bingo games being played but never actually tried them...until about 2 months ago!

I played online and was very surprised at just how much fun it was. It made a nice change from casino or poker games and was very relaxing.
