Default 10 Tips for Sports Betting

1) Be extremely careful if books are calling you and offering gambling packages over the phone. This is a good way to get scammed, especially if they ask you for your credit card number.

2) Read all the rules of any book you choose to join. In fact, read them twice. Make sure books have multiple avenues for correspondence.

3) Report bad customer service behavior. As a customer, you do not have to tolerate it. If the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction, then take your action elsewhere.

4) If a problem arises, be calm and factual. Do not let emotions cloud your judgment.

5) Often, a good bonus is not as effective as playing good lines with less juice.

6) If you’re not sure about a book's history, then ask questions and get opinions from your favorite sport's information online forum. When it comes to a book's reputation, there are no stupid questions.

7) Trust your instincts. If a book is making you uncomfortable, then pick another.

8) If you do not understand a Customer Service rep or a clerk, ask politely to speak to someone else. If they become rude, hang up and then call back and report them.

9) To be safe, change your password occasionally and write it down.

10) If a bonus sounds too good to be true; it probably is.
